Basic on my Bike

Today is a beautiful day. I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine. It had been an exhausting last couple of days and I have a lot in the week to come. Today was a lazy day because I got up kinda late. Five minutes before my eight AM started kinda late. It is nice to take time out of my crazy day and enjoy a bike ride on Taylor Parker's (T-Park) pink bike.

The #fresh4

If you do not know, I am a cheerleader at Bethel College. The coach reached out to me and asked my to come to a few practices and games to meet the team. I committed to the team in the winter of my senior year. Coralee signed with me. Taylor was apart of the spring try outs and Meghan tried out in the fall. We are all about cheer being a family. We each bring a different aspect and back group to the team. I love each of them so much and I am so blessed that they were brought into my life. The name "fresh4" was decided because we are the four female freshmen for this year.

Happy Birthday Lilly

Today we celebrate the wonderful person who is Lilly Pulitzer! I absolutely adore Lilly. I find a lot of myself in her. She was a very positive person and she knew what she wanted. Burr

The cold weather is starting to get to me. Summer just ended and I am ready for it to be that time again. I need major lake therapy. I do not really enjoy the cold, but I love winter activities. I think if we hit the slopes enough times we will be able to make it through the winter. I am so excited for peppermint white hot chocolate! Have a wonderful day and stay warm!

Laughing at my Own Pain

I find my life and the situations I get in very comical. There are many times that I wish I had someone following me around with a camera so I could replay situations I have been in just so I can laugh at myself and what is happening. I know everyone thinks that their life is this big story and no one else deals with the same things that someone else is dealing with. I just find aspects of my life so painful to look at that they are funny. I am not going to give any examples today but here are some embarrassing pictures of me to lighten your day!

Comfort is Key

I understand that most people would choose to wear sweats and a t-shirt. That is not me. I believe people should wear what they are comfortable in and what they feel confident wearing. Happy Monday!

On Friday a group of us went to a barn party that a kid at school hosted. I was "work out Barbie," Hannah was "Rosie The Riveter," and Taylor was a "baseball player." Suzie was "Sandy from Grease." We hit up steak and shake after. Saturday was laid back. I did my weekly Saturday trip to the mall to see if there is any good sales happening. We had a block party at one of our professors house, we carved pumpkins and her husband made amazing soup! I played tennis at like 10 pm and then just hung out with a friend. On Sunday, I attended the deaf church in South Bend for my ASL (American Sign Language) class. They came back to campus and worked on some homework. I also put Christmas lights up in my dorm, I am now a typical college girl.

 They are so cute!!!
